Welcome to Little Angels Day Nursery

Our Story

Little Angels has always held a special place in my heart. My earliest memories are of spending summer holidays and sick days here, where my mum would bring us along. As soon as my brothers and I were old enough to hold a paintbrush or a spade, we would spend weekends earning our pocket money by fixing fences, cleaning carpets, and tending to the garden. Little Angels was more than just a nursery; it was a part of our family.

As soon as I was old enough, I chose to do my work experience here, and I even spent my gap year as the nursery chef, occasionally covering shifts in the under 2's room. These shifts are where I discovered my passion for childcare. After university, I came straight back to the nursery, completing my Level 3 qualification in childcare.

From 2005 to 2015, I continued to work in the baby room and also as an after school nanny. To further my knowledge and understanding of child development I also completed my Early Years Teaching Status.

I supported my mum to prepare for her leaving, and eventually took on the role of manager when she retired in 2019. During this time my son was also born. He joined us at the nursery in 2020 and when he left for Reception in 2023, Clare moved from the baby room to the office to take over as manager so that I could gain further experience. I am now working as a reception teacher at a primary school in Hounslow so that we can prepare our older children for school, and incorporate new ideas and activities from other settings using the EYFS.​

I feel incredibly fortunate to have found my calling in childcare. Despite the challenges that come with running a small business, I see it as a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's education and wellbeing. I am also lucky to have a supportive team who have a wealth of experience teaching the curriculum and supporting childrens needs.
